Catechism

Classes for our 6th, 7th & 8th graders and older youth that have not yet been confirmed will begin in Fall and run through late Spring, with breaks during the Thanksgiving, Christmas, & Easter holidays. Classes are usually held on Sundays from 10:00 am – 11:00 a.m.

The three-year program features an overview of the Bible, The Ten Commandments, The Apostle’s Creed, Lord’s Prayer and the Sacraments. The class requirements also include sermon outlines & service projects. We will also be offering a week long Confirmation Camp at one of our Michigan Lutheran camps each summer with the Pastor.

Parents are invited to serve as monitors for the class as well as on any field trips that may come up.

Confirmation is held on the 3rd Sunday of May every year at the 9:00 a.m. service.
